MAKING CHRIST KNOWN

These are some of the photos I took yesterday at the medical camp and outreach at Malony. It was a blessing to spread the love of Christ to the community here in South Sudan. Most of these people have no formal education hence we have to use a translator to pass on the message. Majority of them have not heard about Christ and such medical outreaches become the best platform to make Christ known. Pray for these loved ones that as we share Christ with them they will understand the gospel and put their trust in Him. Surely salvation is not for a select few, the bible tells us in Romans 10:13, “For whosoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved”.

LOVING IN DEED AND IN TRUTH

Last week i was blest to be part of a team that went out for a home visit. The team comprised of the some of the pastors who are working with the In Deed and Truth Ministry ( www.indeedandtruth.org  )here at Tonj in South Sudan, as well as the medical team and the community health workers. The purpose was to educate the community mostly the women on health issues as well as share the gospel. Most of the people believe in and practice witchcraft, or even visit witchdoctors. They will not even keep it a secret that they do. Actually the lady we were supposed to meet was not at home, she had gone to take one of her friends to the witchdoctor. All the same we had an opportunity to share with her neighbors and it was such a blessing. We also learnt that some of them go to Church even though they may not be having a personal relationship with Jesus. Please keep the community here in prayer that they may turn to the Lord and that the word they hear shall transform their thinking. Pray also that those who accept Jesus shall walk in obedience to God's word. God calls us as Christians to be light of the world regardless of where we are.
